Belvvent has different mushroom species appearing at different times. Late summer through autumn (August–October) is peak foraging season when you'll find the most variety, including prized species like chanterelles and porcini. Spring has its own offerings too, though the selection is smaller. We can recommend the best season based on which mushrooms you're most interested in finding.

Safety is our priority. We only teach you to identify species we're completely confident about, and we explain the difference between edible, inedible, and toxic mushrooms clearly. We won't harvest anything you're unsure about. If you want to cook what you've found, our guides can give you preparation tips, but you're always in control of what you decide to take home and eat.
